Couples who have been together a while often stop asking each other things. Not out of boredom, but because you assume you already know the answers, and most of the time you do. The gaps tend to open quietly: what they want from work now, how they feel about where you live, what is worrying them this year.
Good questions reopen those gaps without turning the evening into an interview. The trick is starting light. A question about a childhood bedroom gets a far better answer than ‘what are your deepest fears’ asked cold over dinner.
These 150 questions run roughly in that order, from everyday and childhood through trust, money, family and the future to the genuinely deep ones. Swipe through, and tap Copy to send one across the table or across the country.

How to Actually Use These
Pick three or four, not thirty. A long list answered quickly turns into a quiz; two questions explored properly turn into the conversation you were hoping for. Ask the follow-up, too, because ‘what made you say that?’ is where most of the real answers live.
Some of these, particularly around money, family and intimacy, work better on a calm evening than in the middle of a disagreement. If one lands somewhere tender, that is useful information about what the two of you have not discussed in a while, and it is worth returning to when neither of you is tired.
For a lighter round, try our funny questions to ask your partner, or share a line from our relationship quotes for couples.
